John Mitchinson is a writer and publisher and co-founder of
Unbound (www.unbound.com), the crowdfunding platform for books
and co-host of Backlisted (www.backlisted.fm), one of the UK’s
most popular books podcasts. He helped create the BBC TV show QI
(www.qi.com) and co-wrote the bestselling series of QI books.
Before that he held senior roles in publishing at Harvill and
Cassell and was the original marketing director of Waterstone’s.
John is a Vice-President of the Hay Festival and writes a regular
column for the Byline Times.
