A four-time Academy Award nominee, twice for writing and twice
for acting, ETHAN HAWKE has starred in over 50 films - including
Dead Poets Society, Reality Bites, Gattaca, Training Day, as well
as Richard Linklater’s Before Sunrise trilogy and Boyhood. He
stars in Marvel's upcoming series Moonknight, and Robert Egger's
epic film, The Northman. He has written and directed
multiple films, most recently completing a 6 part Documentary:
The Last Movie Stars, about Paul Newman and Joanne
Woodward. He is the author of Rules for a Knight, The
Hottest State, Ash Wednesday, and most recently, A Bright Ray of
Darkness. He has also written two graphic novels: Indeh and
Meadowlark.
