Awakening Through Illness

Eckhart talks with a live audience filled with both patients and
healthcare professionals, about the new consciousness emerging in
medicine. Eckhart explains why there has been a lack of
compassion, time and care of patients. He offers solutions on how
doctors can be more fully present with their patients and get to
know them on an individual basis. Eckhart also explains how
illness can become an awakening, pushing us out of our ego and
into a connection with our deeper self.
