Ep #186 - Peter Dickson (Sport)

I recently had a terrific chat with award winning filmmaker and
author Peter Dickson on Sports Legends with Bevo.


We discussed what life was like growing up in a family of six and
the sporting battles they all had.


We also spoke about the close bond that Peter had with his late
brother Rob and how he influenced Peter to become a documentary
maker.


Peter has recently written a book called ‘He Was My Brother’
which is about Rob and the incredible life that he lived and how
his brother’s shock death in 2009 hit Peter and the family so
hard.

Earlier this year, Peter produced a powerful documentary called
‘Dare to Hope’ which he said was one of his toughest yet as it
was about the late Hawks premiership player Paul Dear who Peter
knew well.
