Episode # 115 Interview with John Bukowski Guitarist/Vocalist of Ebony Sorrow & host of A Dangerous Meeting

Since 2000 one of the most extreme metal in Syracuse New York, a
city known for brutal hardcore is the band Ebony Sorrow. Most of
that time John Bukowski has been sharing the guitar playing and
vocalist duties.  I met John went I lived in Syracuse during
the 90s and we bonded on our shared love of Mercyful Fate and
King Diamond. I have always known John to be one of the most
passionate metal nerds, who embraces trying to hear everything.


I wasn’t surprised when he started to DJ his own show on Syracuse
FM radio. The show A Dangerous Meeting includes interviews with
musicians talking about their influences. The show started with
local guests and recently started to bring on national figures
like members of Candlemass and Megadeth.


In this interview, John and I nerd out about music, hardcore, and
metal and talk about the format of his show.
