Chloe Owens joins Melissa on the mic for our Everyday Woman
series. Chloe is a non-fiction visual storyteller based in St.
Louis, MO. Chloe merges her film, photography, and graphic design
skills with her background in social work to amplify marginalized
voices through visual storytelling. In 2015, Chloe produced her
first documentary The Black Experience at Saint Louis University
to amplify the voices of black students and faculty attending a
predominately white school. After the murder of George Floyd in
May 2020, Chloe created #TheWindowQuoteProject to feature quotes
expressed by black people and to express her own feelings during
the midst of a very dark year.
