Musician Dave Bidini is the author of "On a Cold Road", which chronicles life on the road as a member of the band The Rheostatics, whilst opening for the Tragically Hip on a cross-country tour in 1996. Published in 1998, the book was shortlisted as one of the five finalists in Canada Reads 2012. (Originally aired February 1999)
