Her name is Xinran and she's known as China's Oprah. Xinran became a household name in China as a journalist and radio host. She now lives in Britain but she returned to China to compile the stories of old people, those who have lived through war, the cultural revolution and now the rise of China as an economic power. Her new book is called China Witness: Voices from a Silent Generation.
