Billy Wagner continues to work with the Phils regarding a
contract extension. Wagner wants to stay in Philly and has
imposed an August 31st deadline to agree on a new contract.

A full rundown of the current NL East and NL wildcard
standings.

A preview of the month of September for the Phils. Most
upcoming games are against opposing NL East clubs. The Phils must
improve thier 22-28 record versus NL East teams in September.

Phils had a great start to thier most recent roadtrip. We'll
review the Pittsburgh Pirates and San Fran Giants series this
past week.

The Phils end a 12 game, 4 city road trip next Sunday. We'll
have a preview of the upcoming New York Mets and Washington
Nationals series.

We'll also look around the Phils minor league affiliates as
the minor league season draws to an end.

Center Fielder Chris Roberson of the Reading Phillies has
been named Eastern League Rookie Of The Year. We'll review
Chris's accomplishments this season, we'll also look at some
other minor league players making some news late in the season.
