Hour 1: Cenk hosting. Susan Sarandon was interviewed by TYT Politics and Jordan Chariton and CNN. Video of TYT’s one on one with the actress in support of Bernie Sanders. Video of CNN’s Carol Costello challenging the validity of Bernie Sanders over and over while Sarandon dispels all of her talking points. In another example of how Conservative the “Liberal Media” is, The Washington Post Editorial board released a scathing piece today calling Bernie Sanders’ plans fiction being pitched to Progressives as reality. Cenk tears the article apart with its obvious bias in favor of corporations and Wall St, and anger toward Sanders.
Hour 2: Ana joins Cenk for SCS. Updates on the Flint water crisis. They have no plans to replace the tainted pipes that funnel the water to the city. They’ve decided to have people use bottled water and filters for necessities. After fallout from the Arizona high school made headlines for students wearing shirts to spell out Ni**er, the head of the NAACP was answering questions about the situation, and immediately commented on a female reporter’s “nice tits.” Discussion over how this statement was sexist because of the setting he said it in. Oklahoma is pushing for a series of anti-LGBT laws that would severely limit and eliminate many rights of LGBT citizens.
