Pilot Bertrand Piccard safely landed the Solar Impulse 2 solar-powered plane in Abu Dhabi this evening completing the plane's historic flight around the world using only sunlight for fuel. The trip began in Abu Dhabi on March 9, 2015, and concluded July 25, 2016, making aviation history and proving that solar technology can power just about anything.
