Politico article on how Rand Paul’s campaign is in shambles. Cenk talks about how ridiculous the cycle is in calling the end of Paul’s campaign in July of 2015, more than a year before the election will take place. They’ve claimed that the biggest problem he’s got is the lack of fundraising b/c he won’t do the stroking and courting that powerful donors expect. The article continued to outline the pitfalls of not cowtowing to rich donors, or playing “the game.” An ultra Orthodox Jewish man attacked a gay pride parade in Israel with a knife, stabbing and wounding 6 people. Audio of Louie Gohmert telling a Conservative group that if we put gay male couples, female gay couples, and straight couples on an island, nature would determine which marriage is preferred for existence.
Ana replaces John for SCS. Actor James Woods is suing a Twitter user for $10 million for defamation after he suggested Woods is a cocaine addict. Other twitter users pointed out instances where Woods calls people names and disparages their character via Twitter. Comedian Kevin Hart’s comments about not being comfortable with having a gay son is causing an uproar. Cenk and Jimmy are torn on the failed joke.
