On Thursday Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk announced his resignation. His announcement came after two major parties said they were also withdrawing from the governing coalition. The shake up in the government comes at a critical moment for Ukraine. We’ll discuss the latest developments with Eugene Bondarenko, a freelance journalist and translator and member of the Group for Tomorrow’s Ukraine, an organization of Ukrainian American students reporting on Ukraine.
And, Woody Allen’s May-December romance, "Magic in the Moonlight" opens today. But this time around, Allen’s real-life is tempering the enthusiasm which greeted his previous features. Another romantic movie opening today is Michel Gondry’s “Mood Indigo." We’ll find out if there is true magic in “Magic in the Moonlight” and take a look at how Gondry translated Boris Vian’s cult French novel to the screen with Milos Stehlik, director of Facets Multimedia and WBEZ’s film contributor.
