In the midst of civil war, Syrian President Bashar-al-Assad was reelected in an election widely condemned by Western governments. Dr Zaher Sahloul, president of the Syrian American Medical Society, tells us whether he thinks the election will impact the country's ongoing humanitarian crisis.
Then, Community Cloud Forest Conservation (CCFC) works to alleviate poverty and protect Guatemala’s tropical cloud forests.
