Narendra Modi, the controversial leader of the Hindu nationalist Bharatiya Janata Party, has been elected prime minister of India. This marks a bend in the road for Indian politics, ousting the Indian National Congress party, which has been dominant since the birth of modern India in 1947.

Then, an update from Cannes with Milos Stehlik and a look at some of the creative production on the Maidan in Kiev.
