First, an update on how Crimea's indigenous Tatars are reacting to the latest Russian involvement on the peninsula. Then, the European Union, in 2005, set a goal to “increase individual multilingualism until every citizen has practical skills in at least two languages in addition to his or her mother tongue.” We'll look at the E.U.'s progress. Finally, a look at the linguistic preservation work being done with Neo-Aramaic speakers in Chicago.
