Alice Teisan, the founder of His Wheels International, gives us an update on how things have taken off for her since being featured on our Global Activism series last year. Teisan, a former nurse at Rush Hospital in Chicago, was an avid cyclist before she was diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome in 1992. But she channeled her passion for bicycling into helping others around the world suffering from disabilities. Alice created His Wheels International in 2005. The group recycles old bicycles to send overseas.
