When you’re in a foreign country and you don’t speak the languade, how do you connect with people? Jay Savsani thinks food is the way to go. The local web-designer started Meal Sharing to “bring travelers and locals to connect with each other over home cooked meals.” Its mission is “to build communities through shared resources, facili[t]ate deeper cultural exchande, and encourage people to cook at home to enable a healthier lifestyle.” For Global Activism, Jason joins us for an update. He has plans to bring people and cultures together for Thanksgiving, and he'll talk about his food adventures from his recent travels abroad.
