For our monthly EcoMyths segment, Jerome McDonnell and Kate Sackman of EcoMyths Alliance, wanted to know if the hype surrounding the threat of Asian carp to the Great Lakes ecosystem is warranted. The answer was a resounding “yes!” Kim Rice of Friends of the Chicago River; and Jared Teutsch of the Alliance for the Great Lakes, work to prevent Asian carp from reaching the Chicago River and entering Lake Michigan.
