For Global Activism, we hear about the School of Choice / L’Ecole de Choix, a first-of-its kind, trilingual school in Mirebalais, Haiti that provides high-quality elementary education with a focus on leadership development. Laura Pincus Hartman, chairwoman of the board of directors for the School of Choice Education Organization, the Illinois-based nonprofit that develops and operates the Haitian school, tells us about the work they’ve been doing.
