On Saturday, the 46-year-old attorney and former governor of Mexico State,Enrique Peña Nieto, was sworn in as Mexico’s new president. Meanwhile, riots broke out in Mexico City in protest. Some are leery of Nieto’s PRI party, which ran the country for 70 years prior to 2000. We’ll assess the new administration’s pledges and challenges with Laura Carlsen, director of the Americas Program of the Center for International Policy.
