Pat Burrell and Chase Utley have been named team MVP's. Billy Wagner has been awarded the Steve Carlton Most Valuable Pitcher award and the Tug McGraw Good Guy Award. Jimmy Rollins is on fire and has been named NL Player Of The Week for September 12-18. We'll touch on J-Roll's stats and take a look at his current 28 game hitting streak. With the strong offensive performance provided by Ryan Howard, the Phils rookie is making a strong bid for NL Rookie Of The Year. We'll look into Howard's numbers at the plate. A full review of the Florida Marlins and Atlanta Braves series this past week. We'll also break down "The inning" from last Saturday's game in Florida where the Phils scored 10 runs in the 9th inning. A preview of the upcoming Reds, Mets, and Nationals series as the Phils round out the regular season. Pedro shut down? Word has it that the Mets are thinking about shutting Pedro Martinez down for the season. The Phils would catch a break as Pedro was scheduled to pitch in Tuesday's game at Citizens Bank Park.

Week 11 of the Phillies Weekly podcast covering September 9-15 is now available by clicking here It was a great week for the Phils both on and off the field. Here is what we discussed in week 11 of the podcast:

Phillies and Phans come together to raise money for Hurricane Katrina victims. As donations at the gates reached over $80,000.00, the Phils front office also contributed and the club donated a total of $160,000.00 to the Red Cross this week. A big thanks to the Phans for donating and props to David Montgomery and Bill Giles for also chipping in. New email address for Phillies Weekly. Keep sending us your emails at philliesweekly@gmail.com Phils stay right in the NL wild card hunt. We'll review the Florida Marlins and Atlanta Braves series from this past week. After being swept by the Astros, the Phils go on to win 5 out of 7 Jimmy Rollins has really come around as leadoff hitter recently. In the midst of a 22 game hitting streak, Jimmy has helped to spark the club during the recent homestand. We'll look into J-Roll's numbers over the past few week. J-Roll and Kenny Lofton 1-2 punch. A few games this week we saw Rolllins and Lofton combine to score runs on a 1-2 punch. Lofton and Rollins got it done with aggressive baserunning and small ball, something that these 1 and 2 hole hitters must continue to do in the month of September. We also feature player spotlights on Ryan Madson, Ryan Howard and Kenny Lofton.

Bobby Abreu has been nominated by MLB as the Phillies candidate for the Man Of The Year Award. The award is given by the MLB each year to a player who has accomplished the most both on and off the field. You can help Bobby win this award by voting for him at mlb.com. Robinson Tejeda has been awarded the Paul Owens award for the 2005 season. Danny Sandoval has won the International League batting title for the 2005 season. The Phils go down hill this week losing two against the Nationals and get swept by the Astros. We review these games for the Phils and highlight what could have been done to win some of these games. With the Phils struggling, the next few series become more important. We'll take a look at the upcoming Florida Marlins and Atlanta Braves series at Citizens Bank Ballpark.
