Do you find yourself wearing busyness like a badge of honor? In
today’s society, we pride ourselves on to-do lists that create a
sense of self-worth. But the truth is busy behavior is usually a
byproduct of the things we’re trying to avoid.
What if you created space for yourself to enjoy rest and learn
the art of casting your cares? Many things hide behind
restlessness, but God calls us to lay them down. Throughout
scripture, we find that if we do not choose rest, it will choose
us.
God wants us to trust him as we move through life, but we sell
ourselves short when we live as if everything depends on us.
