Hilarious ones! First, the Pro Wrestling Drama this week was off the charts. Brock Lesnar — a tremendous athlete, a monster — walked out for his big entrance and slipped right on his butt. You can’t script this stuff! Absolutely incredible. And the hypocrisy from AEW fans? Totally pathetic. Claudio Castagnoli winning the CMLL World Title is suddenly a “historic triumph,” but Trick Williams winning the TNA World Title is “bad for business”? Give me a break! These people are unhinged. And speaking of unhinged — Samoa Joe as an older champion is “beautiful storytelling,” but CM Punk being an older champion is “a disaster”? Ridiculous! Bret Hart is also on a podcast warpath, yelling at everybody, and honestly… it’s kind of amazing. So much more, you won’t believe it. Then we covered the Pro Wrestling News, and let me tell you — wild week. AEW is avoiding putting Kenny Omega in long singles matches, which is probably smart because the guy is basically held together with super glue at this point. Jushin Thunder Liger came out of retirement to wrestle Joey Janela in a match so bad it should be illegal. Tetsuya Naito won his first title since leaving NJPW — big deal, huge! We kicked things off with the unbelievable situation in TNA: Did Mike Santana dropping the World Title right after Bound for Glory make ANY sense? Some people say yes, but believe me… a lot more people say absolutely not. Then we had Priscilla Kelly having to clarify her own comments because the wrestling media twisted her words—again! They always do this. They push the “WWE BAD” story because that’s all they know. Pathetic! Saudi Arabia buying WBD? What does this mean for AEW? Is Tony Khan shaking? Should he? Probably! Andrade El Idolo walking out of a booking—another huge story. And we covered MUCH more. Tremendous coverage. Big league. Then we moved into the news, and WOW. Boston officially declared JOHN CENA DAY. Amazing. A true champion. Chris Jericho said TNA looked like a big deal at Bound for Glory—and he’s right. They actually looked tremendous. Mercedes Moné was voted PWI’s top female wrestler of the year, which is… questionable. VERY questionable. Desmond Xavier returns to TNA, and trust me, we had thoughts. A lot of thoughts. And then—get ready—we reviewed Braun Strowman’s incredible television masterpiece, Everything on the Menu with Braun Strowman. The man goes to restaurants and eats EVERYTHING. The whole menu! It’s terrific. It’s entertaining. It’s powerful. It’s the kind of show only a real monster among men could deliver. We also went deep—very deep—into the long history of wrestlers doing non-wrestling TV and movie appearances. From the early beginnings of television to the big screen megastars we know now, wrestlers have been EVERYWHERE. Pop culture. Hollywood. Commercials. Variety shows. You name it. We get into this week’s Wrestling Drama, which has been completely insane. Dave Meltzer—Fake News Dave—is claiming WWE tried to hire him after RAW’s ratings dipped? Total lie. Complete fabrication.
