FTD Talk is hosted by John James, a writer and campaigner for male
victims of female perpetrated domestic violence and advocate for
men's mental health. Nick is the co-host of FTD Talk and this
episode Nick takes over hosting duties and interviews Marcus who
talks about his abusive relationship and parental alienation. This
is our 2nd show in a row about parental alienation which emphasises
how important the subject is. Suicide in men rises by 8% when going

FTD stands for From The Darkness the name of my book, an
autobiographical account of my time in an abusive relationship. FTD
Talk discusses male victims of domestic violence and men's mental
health. I talk to male survivors of domestic abuse and the
organisations that support them. Discussions will cover many
subjects from domestic violence, suicide ideation, self harm and
even rape. Sometimes discussion may be uncomfortable but always
necessary. FTD Talk aims to give men a safe place to talk. Together
we're stronger 🙏
