Lauren’s current and prior experience includes pro-life policy research, campus activism and development, community organizing, pro-life education, and volunteer work serving pregnant women. This past Saturday (40 days after Christmas) the Church celebrated Candlemas, during which we recall the Presentation of Jesus in the temple and Blessed Mother Mary's purification. In our modern age, this story can seem in many ways unrelatable, and after spouting off the "who, what, where, and when," we simply move on. However, this story is rich in meaning.
