The film follows actor Mark Patton’s journey from his time as a young, closeted gay man in a repressive hometown to his rise as a leading actor in Hollywood and his subsequent disappearance after the release of the controversial and wonderfully gay (and possibly homophobic?) sequel to A Nightmare On Elm Street, A Nightmare On Elm Street Part 2: Freddy’s Revenge.
