Stewing And Brewing: A Kitschy Witchy World

November is here, and that means a new lineup of shows!  Join us at @StackHouseRadio this week for a deep dive into the legends, myths, and lore associated with water from around the world!  Have you ever wondered what mysterious creatures or long, lost stories are hiding just below the surface?  We have!  From secretive lake residents that thrill flocking tourists to mischevious river spirits, tune in and get an introduction to strange creatures, ancient Elementals, and the various deities associated with this life-giving, as well as life-taking, element!

Tis' the Eve of Samhain!  This is the season when the veil between the living and dead is the thinniest.  In our last line of Halloween episodes we will seek the mysteries of the spiritualist and diviner.  We will gaze into the oracles of the underworld!  Throughout history, there have been many divices for accessing the other realms, and groups dedicated to recieving messages from those who have gone beyond.  Can those who have crossed over be contacted? Can a card or tea leaves really show us our futures?  If there is ever a time for these things to be possibe it is the time of Samhain!  

Ever buy an item at an antique store that just caused all kinds of mayhem when you brought it home?  Ever sneak into a place only to find a creepy hitchhiker travelling back with you?  Well, you just may be CURSED!!!!  Join us at Stack House Radio for another Halloween themed show.  This time, we're talking about all things cursed and haunted!  Just don't tell those tv folks who "capture" (expensive) haunted items from folks who don't know any better. 

Werewolves and Vampires are no strangers to lore and legend across the globe, but what of their presence in North American folklore?  The next episode in our "Halloween Show Lineup" will hunt down legends of these creatures here on our own continent.  Did you know that Connecticut has a vampire legend of its very own?  Careful not to pick up any hairy hitchikers on Bray Road in the state of Wisconsin!  Tonight we will do our very best to make Bela Lugosi and Lon Chaney Jr. proud as we talk about the North American versions of these "creaures of the night".
