Season 1, Episode 14 is with special guest, Tachianna Ortis.
Tachianna went into the foster care system at a young age and then
became a transracial adoptee. She experienced severe abuse from
ages 7 to age 14, at the hands of a boy that lived in the home. Her
adopted mother was oftentimes abusive and she beat Tachianna on a
regular basis. After leaving home at 17, Tachianna headed to a life
of perversion. She became a stripper and then went on to become a
prostitute. While living in a homosexual relationship, Tachianna
begins to feel the tug of Christ on her heart. Soon, she submitted
and the radical transformation process began. Today, Tachianna
shares the word of Christ to ladies and encourages them to pray,
write down their plan, and never give up on Jesus. Her book,

Season 1, Episode 13 is with special guest Italyy Smith. Italyy, at
only 22 years old, has a tremendous amount of insight and awareness
into her life as a former foster child and then adopted child.
Italyy was discovered as an infant on the side of the road, under a
bridge in small-town Oklahoma. Born to a drug-addicted mother, she
was placed into the foster care system and then adopted. Life was
hard as an adopted child in a family that was physically and
emotionally abusive. Finally, at 16, she escaped that life and was
soon blessed with two angels. Italyy's life began to transform as
the love of Christ filled holes and voids within her. Her testimony
is a tribute to goodness and faithfulness of God. No matter how we

Season 1, Episode 12, is with special guest, Rae. Rae shares her
story of going from foster care at 3 years old to be adopted into a
codependent home where her parents were terrified that she would
become a substance abuser user like her biological mother. The
scrutiny followed her everywhere, and she spent much of her life
trying desperately to meet their expectations, figure out what was
'wrong' with her, and find a way to be accepted. Instead, Rae
experienced emotional, spiritual, and sexual abuse. She completely
lost her identity when she broke off an engagement and walked away
from religion as a senior in college. Today, Rae is working to
reclaim her voice and discover herself. Along the way, she found a
passion for mental health literacy, self-exploration, and
storytelling. She began a certification for addiction and abuse
recovery coaching to put her desires to use. To learn more about
