Dive into this conversation to hear Traci's fertility journey.
She did not plan to have children and didn't think she had the
nurturing personality to be a mom. After her husband expressed
interest in having a baby, she was open to it. Traci went through
the unfortunate cycle of multiple miscarriages and thought she
could not have children. To her surprise, she became pregnant
naturally in her mid 40s.
This episode has been re-edited from the original publication
from September 2000.

Season 5: Episode 7
This is a solo episode, of me speaking about the benefits of
having only one child. You have likely heard the term, "one and
done". More parents are choosing to only have one child due to
starting their parenting journey later, economic reasons, and
some even say for environmental reasons. Whether you have made
the choice to have only one child or you have found yourself
having difficulty having another one, then this episode may be
for you.
I will give you a few benefits as I see it today. Feel free to
share your comments here too.

Season 5: Episode 6
We know that physical activity is essential in our children's
lives. Unfortunately, intense activity has greater risk of
injuries. More than 2.6 million children and teens end up in the
emergency room with sports injuries each year. In this episode, I
spoke to Dr. Naomi Brown, Pediatric Sports Medicine Specialist,
Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) to find out how
parents can prevent injuries and what to do when their child does
get hurt.

Season 5: Episode 5
What do we need to know for women's midlife care? In this
episode, I dove into the mission of Deiya Health with founders,
Dr. Nirshila Chand and Dr. Rajasree Nambron. I asked them about
hormones and peri-menopause. Deiya Health was offering a safety
net of services and resources that sought to uplift, empower, and
transform the lives of women everywhere.
They were in the very early stages at the time of this recording
and have since decided to cease operations of Deiya Health. For
now, you will find both doctor profiles on Linkedin.
This episode was recorded in May, 2024.
