Karin Beindorff im Gespräch mit Paul Parin (1916-2009). Der
Schweizer Psychologe, Ethnologe und Schriftsteller gilt als einer
der maßgeblichen Mitbegründer:innen der Ethnopsychoanalyse. Auch
wenn Paul Parin, zusammen mit seiner Frau Goldy Parin-Matthèy und
Fritz Morgenthaler die Ethnopsychoanalyse bei den Dogon und Agni
entwickelte und dies durchaus durch die westlich-koloniale
Geschichte in Afrika kritisch sah, verteidigte er die
Psychoanalyse als global gültige Erkenntnismethode. So
verknüpft die ethnopsychoanalytische Forschung Psychoanalyse
und Ethnologie und hat insbesondere in einer globalisierten
Warenwelt, der die globale Migration nachfolgt, eine große
Bedeutung. Im 21. Jahrhundert sind psychotherapeutische
Behandlungen von Migrant:innen ohne kulturelle Hintergründe kaum
möglich. Gleiches gilt für traumatisierte Kriegsopfer.

The Swiss psychologist, ethnologist and writer is considered one
of the key co-founders of ethnopsychoanalysis. Although Paul
Parin, together with his wife Goldy Parin-Matthèy and Fritz
Morgenthaler, developed ethnopsychoanalysis among the Dogon and
Agni peoples and viewed this critically in light of Western
colonial history in Africa, he defended psychoanalysis as a
universally valid method of knowledge. Ethnopsychoanalytic
research combines psychoanalysis and ethnology and is
particularly important in a globalised world of commodities,
which is followed by global migration. In the 21st century,
psychotherapeutic treatment of migrants without cultural
backgrounds is hardly possible. The same applies to traumatised
war victims.

psychologue, ethnologue et écrivain suisse est considéré comme
l'un des cofondateurs majeurs de l'ethnopsychanalyse. Même si
Paul Parin, avec sa femme Goldy Parin-Matthèy et Fritz
Morgenthaler, a développé l'ethnopsychanalyse chez les Dogons et
les Agnis et qu'il avait une vision critique de l'histoire
coloniale occidentale en Afrique, il défendait la psychanalyse
comme méthode de connaissance universellement valable. La
recherche ethnopsychanalytique combine la psychanalyse et
l'ethnologie et revêt une grande importance, en particulier dans
un monde globalisé où la migration mondiale est omniprésente. Au
XXIe siècle, les traitements psychothérapeutiques des migrants
sans contexte culturel sont pratiquement impossibles. Il en va de
même pour les victimes de guerre traumatisées.

العالم النفسي والإثنولوجي والكاتب السويسري أحد مؤسسي علم التحليل
النفسي الإثنولوجي. على الرغم من أن بول بارين، بالتعاون مع زوجته
غولدي بارين-ماتي وفريتز مورغنثالر، طور التحليل النفسي الإثنوغرافي
لدى قبائل الدوجون والأغني، واعتبر ذلك أمراً بالغ الأهمية في سياق
التاريخ الاستعماري الغربي في أفريقيا، إلا أنه دافع عن التحليل
النفسي كطريقة معرفية عامة. كمنهج، يربط البحث الإثنو-نفسي بين
التحليل النفسي وعلم الأجناس، وله أهمية كبيرة خاصة في عالم السلع
المعولم الذي يتبع الهجرة العالمية. في القرن الحادي والعشرين، من
الصعب إجراء علاجات نفسية للمهاجرين دون معرفة خلفياتهم الثقافية.
وينطبق الشيء نفسه على ضحايا الحرب المصابين بصدمات نفسية.
