Horse was among the most elite SAS soldiers, but it came with
hidden scars. When the dog handler left the Australian army, his
life spiralled. Unable to escape the trauma and chronic pain,
Horse turned to drugs and alcohol. From using psychedelics in
Mexico and seeking comfort in his dog Preston, Horse shares how
he’s navigating stress beyond the frontline, why he doesn’t
regret anything and how he’s found a lighter side of life
training dogs for movies.
