Garrett Batty has had a life long love of filmmaking. Starting
literally as far back as he can remember. Growing up in Park City,
UT, he was exposed to all the classics like “Star Wars” “Back to
the Future” and “Indiana Jones” and he wanted to do that. In 2009
he finally got the chance to make his dreams come true with the low
budget “Scout Camp” and he never looked back. Creating his own
style of faith-based films, Batty crafted some seriously good
movies that don’t come off religious but more as a good movie with
a good story. His latest film “Faith of Angels” had me intrigued
with the unbelievable storyline, fantastic acting and sharp
directing style that made hooked from the start. Along with Batty,
I got the chance to interview Joshua Dennis, the boy (now a man)
who gets lost in a cave, presumed dead and miraculously is found! I
loved the movie and I’m looking forward to seeing more of Batty’s
work in the future.
