Episode 126 - Forget About Me (1990)

Budapest is the destination on this episode of The Swally for a
Simple Minds concert as we look at the 1990 Michael Winterbottom
film, Forget About Me. Starring Ewen Bremner and Brian McCardie,
it tells the story of two Scottish squaddies stationed in Germany
who, granted leave for Hogmanay, set off not for home, but for
Budapest and a Simple Minds concert.


In the news we take the shortest flight possible, get into a row
over a DVD, go online shopping for clothing from our favourite
lager and tempt a cat down from a tree with a McDonald’s burger.
