Davies, who announces that he has taken his prime stock to continue
his business in France, hot on the heels of the Racing Post story
chronicling the similar exit of owner Bryan Drew. Following on from
this, trainer Jane Williams explains why she was only too happy to
go against the grain to pick up bargain foals at Goffs UK
yesterday. She also has good news of son Chester and a new arrival
to the family. Later in the show, Charlotte reports from the
Longines World's Best Racehorse ceremony in London, where City of
Troy and Laurel River shared top billing. She catches up with
trainers Aidan O'Brien and Bhupat Seemar, plus York CEO William
Derby. James Willoughby casts a critical eye over the final list.
