Ep 1252 - Constitution Hill gets Punchestown green light

Tom in for Nick and joined initially by Nicky Henderson who tells
us that all went well with Constitution Hill’s gallop this morning
and he has been given the green light for Punchestown! Lee
Mottershead, senior writer at the Racing Post joins us to reflect
on this news and we then turn our attention to two brilliant days
at Sandown Park. We are joined by clerk of the course at the track
Andrew Cooper who tells us what conditions we can expect across all
four tracks in use. Trainers Ed Walker and Ralph Beckett are well
represented on Friday’s flat card and run through their chances,
notably Almaqam and I Am I Said. There was another record breaking
Breeze Up Sale yesterday, this time at Goffs Doncaster and Katie
Walsh joins to talk about the Mehmas colt she consigned for £1m.
