As a Meditation Teacher and Well-Being Coach, Maria Mayes serves
as a conduit for inner peace. She founded Take 5, LLC, with a
mission of helping others liberate themselves from anxiety and
the effects of chronic stress.
With a specialty in Mental Wellness in the Workplace, Take 5
offers workshops, educational programs, and customized
instruction in yoga and meditation. Her Take 5 Workplace
Relaxation videos help business owners and their teams reduce
tension, stress, and anxiety while increasing focus,
productivity, and connectedness. In her coaching work, Maria
assists small business owners and executives with high-stress
levels transition from self-medicating to the freedom of inner
peace.
Maria is passionate about making the teachings of Breathwork,
Ayurveda, and Meditation accessible beyond the confines of the
yoga studio. Her goal is to empower us to apply these
teachings in our everyday lives, from the conference room to the
cocktail table.
Certified through Chopra Global in Coaching, Mediation, and
Ayurveda, Maria is also an E-RYT Yoga Teacher and Certified
Breath Coach with specialty training in mental health and
neuroscience. Her unique blend of experience includes over 20
years in the software industry and 10 years in the wine
industry. Maria’s podcast, Chakras & Chardonnay is an
extension of her offerings, where she shares life-changing wisdom
teachings in a fun approachable way to help listeners embrace a
conscious lifestyle.
