GEORGIA RADIO - Y’all won’t want to miss this! Country music
artist Robby Johnson is sitting down with Matt Jolley
on GeorgiaRadio.com this Wednesday, November 20th, at
12 PM ET (Noon) to chat about his latest release, Road I'm
On. Robby’s down-to-earth charm and heartfelt music have made him
a favorite with fans, and he’s ready to share the stories behind
his newest tunes.

His latest release, Road I’m On, is packed with the kind of
soul and storytelling that makes country music special. And just
in time for the holidays, Robby’s festive new song, “Oh! Santa,
Please,” is spreading Christmas cheer on stations across the
country this season.

Robby’s also still riding high on the success of his September
single, “More Than You Think.” Released just in time for National
Grandparents Day, this heartfelt song is a tribute to the
grandparents who love and support their families in ways big and
small. It was premiered by RFD-TV and has struck a chord with
listeners, even landing a spot on Spotify’s All New
Country playlist.

Talking about the song’s inspiration, Robby shared:

“My grandparents, Olivette and Lionel (Leo), played a huge part
in raising me, and I wish they could see who I’ve become. They
worked so hard to help make ends meet and give us a better life.
This song is my way of saying ‘thank you.’”

A Journey Built on Hard Work and Heart

Robby Johnson’s journey to country music stardom is as real as it
gets. Starting out as a factory worker who sang on his shifts, he
got his first big break when someone gave him a demo session as a
Christmas gift. From there, he packed up and moved to Nashville
in 2012, where he teamed up with industry greats Jimmy Nichols
and Frank Myers.

His first big single, “South Of Me,” made it into the Top 20 on
the Music Row Breakout Chart and even got him a performance
on The Late Show with David Letterman. His debut
album, Don’t Look Back, produced by James Stroud, put him on
the map, with songs from some of Nashville’s best writers and a
guitar solo by Vince Gill.
