Connie Dabate, a mother of two, returned to her home in Ellington,
CT on the morning of December 23, 2015 to a masked intruder in her
home - or at least that’s the story her husband told. Over a year
later, the arrest made in her case would shock the community and
lead to more questions about what was going on behind the scenes.
Since the killer was convicted in part thanks to digital evidence
from Connie’s Fitbit tracker, this became known nationwide as “The
Fitbit Murder” - but it should be remembered by the victim’s name:
