David Emery Misch started getting into trouble at just 16 years old
and was in and out of prison in California for various crimes
throughout his 20s. In 1989, he was caught and convicted for the
murder of Margaret Ball. Little did investigators know, Misch had
committed at least 3 other murders prior to this between jail
sentences - but it took decades before he was connected to those
cases with DNA evidence. In 2024, he was convicted of the double
murder of Michelle Xavier and Jennifer Duey from 1986. And now,
Misch is awaiting trial for the 1988 abduction and murder of
