The Binge: The Power of the Dog, Luca, The Book of Boba Fett, and More

The power of the binge! SPOILER-FREE! We're back with another
packed episode as we go through the movies and series we recently
watched. Sinimulan namin sa pinakabagong Korean hit series na All
of Us are Dead! The problem is, only one of us have seen it and
technically, we're not even sure if we can call it watching it. So
pumunta na lang kami sa Korean movie that quickly shot up the
Netflix Philippines charts, Love and Leashes! Napag-usapan kung
bakit kaya bigla rin siyang nawala sa top 10 even though may
collars, chains, and whips involved in this movie. Sorry dahil pati
si Kim Chiu nadamay pa sa usapan. We then get into the recently
concluded Star Wars series on Disney Plus, The Book of Boba Fett.
Or should we say The Mandalorian Book Two and a Half? Then from one
80s property to another na buhay pa rin after all this time, we
talk about Ghostbusters: Afterlife. We complete this binge with two
Oscar-nominated films, Luca and The Power of the Dog! Syempre, we
can't help but compare Disney movies since kalaban ni Luca ang
Encanto. Sino kayang mananalo? Well, tingin namin it's almost
certainly Disney. And last but not the least, after all the buzz in
the 2021 Venice International Film Festival (na mostly dahil kay
John Arcilla), we finally watched The Power of the Dog and ang
performance ni Benedict Cumberbatch. Just to redeem ourselves a bit
from the recording, the quote is "deliver my soul from the sword;
my darling from the power of the dog." Ang lalim! Thanks for
