F9: Third Gear

With F9 now available to rent on VOD, we’re covering the movie yet
again, this time with Cara Gael O’Regan! Before she joins, though,
we debate whether Brian and Bilkins fly to California to get Roman
from his demolition derby, talk about the merits of modern movies
converted to black and white, and the upcoming 4K release of F9
(and what we hope to get from the “director’s cut”). Then, we count
tires in what we’re calling “the calm before the storm” in the 2
Fast 2 Furious Minute (29:30) before welcoming in Cara to talk
about all things F9 (38:10). We find out what she loves (and how
that ties into what she fears), as well as her dream future for the
franchise. We talk about Stasiak’s improbable career acceleration,
which haircut best suits Cipher, and the questionable life lessons
