Troll (1986)

Our 80s Cult Movie lap continues with Troll, which falls right in
line with some of the other pit stop movies we've been watching. We
talk about JK Rowling totally definitely no way using this movie as
inspiration for Harry Potter, the mixed feelings that Julia-Louis
Dreyfus has about Troll, and what John Carl Buechler (predominantly
a special effects guy) brought to the helm as director. We make our
picks for the Most 80s Moment (and Joe makes a bonus pick), we
discuss which residents of the building most reflect our own
personalities, and we debate the correct order to convert an entire
building of humans into trolls. We try to make sense of the (too
late into the movie) plot explanation dumb, and we wonder if the
