We’re joined by Cody Brown (Studiohouse Designs) to talk about The
Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift — and how it pushed him toward
cars! In talking about Cody’s history with the franchise, we all
share memories of bringing grandparents to movies they otherwise
had no interest in. Cody explains why Suki is his favorite
character and talks about what Tokyo Drift brought to the franchise
that the first two films didn’t. We talk about the biggest Oops! in
the movie (including a disgusting detail we never noticed before),
whether this movie holds the franchise’s “family” pivot, and
whether these movies are becoming more or less self-aware (or both
at the same time, somehow?). Cody shares deep insights about the
