Se.02 Ep.13 - Georgie Devine - Phantom Sensations

This week on The Get Down we are joined by a guest who was just
last week a stranger in the world to me. I met Georgie at a skate
park whilst out with my son and observed she had a prosthetic leg
from the knee down.  We struck up a conversation and I was
immediately blown away by her story and I asked her to stop
talking and invited her onto the show. To my delight she said
YES! I found Georgie to be incredibly brave, honest and funny,
all rolled up with an infectious laugh to boot. I commend Georgie
on her bravery and have no doubts she will use this reasonably
new condition she is faced with to help others and bring
positivity into peoples lives.  Georgie also pops The Get
Down's cherry by being the first female guest on the show. Thank
you for your time and openness Georgie. I cant wait to drink beer
out of your leg some time!
