Rachel is a Marine Ecologist, PADI Master Scuba Instructor, and
USCG 100-ton licensed Captain living  in the Florida Keys.
 She works as an independent contractor in a variety of
roles, she is a captain for the Coral Restoration Foundation and
travels the world and work as a naturalist/undersea
specialist/expedition diver aboard Lindblad Expedition and
National Geographic vessels (when there isn’t a global pandemic),
and is the the head of the training department for Diveheart, a
scuba diving training agency that focuses on getting children,
adults, and veterans with disabilities scuba diving. Educating
and presenting on anything ocean science is Rachels aim in all
her jobs. she loves love taking hard-core research and
disseminating it into an easily understood form that is both
accessible to many education levels and elicits
conversation!
