42. Sharks ARE for kids! - Jillian Morris-Brake

Jillian Morris-Brake was born and raised in Maine, so love for
the ocean started at an early age and has continued to play a
huge part role in her adult life. She is a co-founder of
Sharks4kids, a shark education program for children (and people
of all ages) that provides free online educational materials,
person visits, full educational tours, snorkeling trips and shark
tagging expeditions. Connecting with over 60,000 students in 44
countries and 48 US States through in person visits, Skype
Lessons and Google Hangouts Sharks4kids has made a huge impact in
introducing sharks to kids in a fun and safe way!. They are now
partnering with research groups, conservation organizations and
aquariums around the world to create new materials and provide
even more opportunities for students!
