Back in the year 2010, film director Edgar Wright adapted a story
from Brian Lee O’Malley’s series of graphic novels titled: “Scott
Pilgrim Vs. The World”. The film revolves around a young
Torontonian named Scott Pilgrim played by Michael Cera whose life
is turned upside down when he meets the mysterious and beautiful
Ramona Flowers portrayed by Mary Elizabeth Winstead. As it turns
out, Ramona, well, she’s got a bit of a past and it’s up to Scott
to win her affections by defeating several of her former boyfriends
in a series of video game-inspired fights. And if you’ve never seen
the film before, just know that – Yes, it really is as awesome as
it sounds. In order to bring this energetic story to the silver
screen, Edgar assembled an incredible cast that included a whole
ton of actors who were right on the cusp of major stardom including
the likes of Kieran Culkin, Anna Kendrick, Ellen Wong, Brandon
Routh, Jason Schwartzman, and a couple soon to be Marvel superstars
who you might have heard of before in Brie Larson and Chris Evans.
