There are few rappers who have a career arc similar to Compton
rapper The Game. Born Jayceon Terrell Taylor on November 29th,
1979, The Game was a force to be reckoned with during the 2000s and
throughout the 2010s up until this day, giving us classics like The
Documentary, The Doctor's Advocate, and Jesus Piece, Game just to
name a few. He was a member of the legendary hip hop group G Unit
but only for a short amount of time, which led to him leaving the
group and having an incredibly intense feud with 50 Cent. Being one
to never back down or take the first shot Game really has no
shortage of rap beef some of which resulted in some pretty crazy
moments that we for sure will be breaking down today. Even Games
name dropping reference heavy style of rapping made it a spectacle
every time he dropped a verse, plushes this 6’4 tatted-up dude from
Compton that had been in a coma after suffering wounds, only to go
on to become a member of one of the biggest hip hop groups, selling
5 million records on your first album while ruffling the feathers
of everyone every time you rapped, The Game really had this
boogieman type presence that went along elite rapping ability and a
legendary rap career that had its trials and tribulations. The game
really did serve an important time in hip hop so I thought it would
absolutely be worth taking a look at the recent history of The
Game.
