If you were cruising social media on Tuesday night, then odds are
you’ve seen a bunch of comments gushing over the NBA Summer League
debut of Chet Holmgren. This 20-year-old has yet to play a single
game in the professional league but he absolutely lit up the floor
by scoring 23-points, grabbing seven rebounds, dishing out four
assists, and blocking six shots. That last one? It’s a record. And
it was also good enough to capture the attention of perhaps the
most significant player in the league (and soon-to-be Toronto
Raptor, come on baby, don’t let me down), Kevin Durant. Of course,

when it’s a young kid who looks like Chet does -- thin-as-a-rail,
tall-as-all-hell, and white-as-a-sheet – then people tend to lose
